The Office of the Registrar will no longer accept New Course/Crosslist Forms printed without using "Print Preview". There are several reasons for this change in policy:
1) There are some fields without which the Registrar's Office cannot process a new course/crosslist form. The print preview function will validate these fields and ensure that all necessary information is available.
2) Using print preview makes the output more concise and readable. Most submissions that would take two sheets of printed paper using the raw form will take only one using the print preview version.
3) In addition to providing a more accurate and readable printed form, the print preview function submits some key information, such as the course description, to an online database where it can be more easily retrieved electronically.
If you are unable to access the Print Preview portion of the New Course/Crosslist Form:
1) Make sure you are using a supported web browser (Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, or Safari) and that it is updated to the most recent version.
2) Make sure JavaScript is enabled.
3) Make sure you have provided data for all required fields.
